THE GRID

The Grid: Terra Magna Erotica Politica

‘She took a chance that seemed so foreign and strange to her. She grappled with it, then grasped it with both hands. Ignatia had traversed the grid.’

Ignatia Bai, queer educational inspector, is on a mission to visit every White Leaf educator in her world. To do so, she must traverse the complex network of portals and political intrigues that connect them.

FEATURES

Into the magical, portal-driven world of Terra Magna (aka — its “grid”) comes a novella for adults. Set thirty years before the beginning of The Sacerdos Mysteries series, it is gritty, political and… deliciously erotic.

The Grid is a standalone novella for adults set in the world of The Sacerdos Mysteries novels. It is a highly sensory and sensual novel, during which the reader experiences the dystopian world of Terra Magna through an adult’s eyes. Ignatia, the central character, is having a mid-life crisis which leads her on an epic search. Leaving behind her wife, son, and the glamour of Sacerdos’ cultured society, she embarks on an eight-month journey across the grid, Terra Magna’s spiral of interconnected travel portals. Though her remit is to inspect its White Leaf educators, she dives headlong into a series of clandestine sexual encounters. For the first time, Ignatia experiences the full spectrum of her sexual desires. Yet her quest leaves her with new questions and effectively changes the way she perceives her world forever.

‘She took a chance that seemed so foreign and strange to her. She grappled with it, then grasped it with both hands. Ignatia had traversed the grid.’
