As shown by this article by Richard Johnson, the never-ending fascination of Michael remains very much the preserve of the follower of popular culture as well as the moonwalker and academic. However, issues like the ones discussed in this article are very worrying. The Last Photo Shoots seems to present MJ in a very positive and truthful light, while the show, Autopsy: Michael Jackson’s Last Hours, which I have never seen (and never will because it’s truly horrifying to me) seem to go by unchallenged.
